The City of Ventnor is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Annual Block Party, taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year’s event promises a day of fun for residents and visitors alike.
Event details:
The block party will span Ventnor Avenue, from Portland Avenue to Troy Avenue. Attendees can expect a festive atmosphere with live entertainment, food vendors, arts and crafts, games and much more. It’s a celebration of the community, and everyone is invited to come out, enjoy and connect!
Important traffic and parking information:
To ensure the safety and smooth flow of the event, Ventnor City Police Department will be implementing no parking zones and traffic detours throughout the day. These measures will help accommodate the large crowds and keep traffic moving efficiently.
• Road closures and parking restrictions: No parking on Ventnor Avenue and surrounding side streets. Signs will be posted, and enforcement will begin early on Saturday morning. Please make sure your vehicle is not parked in these areas to avoid having it towed.
• Traffic detours: To avoid delays, we encourage drivers to use Atlantic Avenue between Dorset and Rosborough Avenues between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.. Additionally, New Jersey Transit buses will be rerouted for the duration of the event.
We ask everyone to please be mindful of the road closures and detours, and to follow posted signs to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all.
