Thousands gathered in downtown Ocean City on Saturday, May 3, for one of the resort’s most beloved traditions—the annual Spring Block Party. Despite a brief spell of morning clouds and showers, the skies soon cleared, giving way to a perfect spring day filled with sunshine, shopping, and smiles.

The block party stretched along Asbury Avenue from 5th to 14th streets, welcoming more than 350 crafters and vendors offering handmade goods, art, and early summer discounts. Visitors browsed booths overflowing with colorful wares while enjoying the sounds of live music echoing through the streets.

Food options were abundant, from fresh acai bowls and soft pretzels to grilled favorites and spicy street tacos. Families, couples, and groups of friends filled the avenue. Local shops also joined in the fun with sidewalk sales, and community organizations hosted activities for all ages.

Ocean City’s next Block Party celebration will take place this fall on Saturday, Oct. 11.
